For part of spring break we took a little drive down to Savannah and Hilton Head.
Savannah was BEAUTIFUL! It looked just like I imagined- big, green, droopy trees with Spanish Moss hanging from them and beautiful homes. We spent a lot of time exploring and ate fried chicken and no less than 17 sides at Mrs. Wilke's Dining Room (President Obama ate there just 2 days before).
Hilton Head was wonderful, as well. We spent some time at the beach (with no swimsuits, I am a packing moron), at a nature preserve, and driving around the island.

We were so excited to take Lincoln to the beach for the first time! He didn't think too much of the water, but really liked crawling around on the sand, digging in it, and every once in a while, sneaking in a quick taste.
Spending time together was a treat and we tried to make the most of it!
