Ft. Laudydaudy

Well, we can now add Florida to the (ever-growing) list of places we've lived. Ft. Lauderdale was a great town; it boasts sparkling canals lined with monstrous boats, beautiful palm trees and flowers, and a perfect-sized town for some serious Haymoop exploration. Oh, and the beach. You can't forget the beach.

Ft. Lauderdale seemed to be divided into 3 main areas: the rich, rich, rich area with boats and gynormous homes, the medium ghetto, and then the true ghetto. We lived in the medium ghetto which fits us just right.

One funny thing about Ft. Lauderdale, and probably most of southern Florida, is all the art deco! Salmon pink, pale yellow, and funky (not in a good way) architecture is in abundance.

This would be a prime example of medium ghettoness right about a mile from our house.
