Easter

Easter was lovely and we enjoyed all the things that come with it.  Dying the eggs, the hunt, church, and a nice dinner.

Linc was a little more gentle this year with his eggs.  Most of them made it back to the refrigerator uncracked.  He is all boy, and had Steven draw dump trucks and garbage trucks on all the eggs.

I have to say, trying to explain the concept of death, resurrection, and Easter in general to an almost 3-year-old (and a smart one at that :)) is difficult.  "You die, but its ok, you can live again with Mommy and Daddy..."  Lincoln inspects every dead thing in the road with great interest now.  But hopefully one day we can teach him the beauty of the resurrection.  We are imperfect.  We all sin and our sins must accounted for.  But Heavenly Father loved us so much, he allowed His son to come and pay for our sins.  He did so, and in 3 days he was risen.  Because He lives, so shall we.
